Police arrested 43 criminals including eight proclaimed offenders in the city and seized liquor, bet money and weapons during the past 24 hours. According to police officials on Friday, police teams arrested 13 illicit weapon holders and seized 13 pistols and a number of bullets from their possession. Police also nabbed 14 gamblers along with Rs7,540 bet money. Similarly, police also arrested eight bootleggers and drug peddlers and seized 1,394 litres of liquor as well as 2.14kgs of hashish from their possession.
