Colonies to be built for fishermen in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD:

Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) and the Balochistan government have signed an MoU under Naya Pakistan housing programme for provincial government employees, federal government employees and the public. The MoU was signed by DG FGEHA Waseem Hayat Bajwa and Secretary Urban Planning Government of Balochistan Khaleeq Zaman Kiyani. Chief Secretary Capt (retd) Fazeel Asghar was present as chief guest and was briefed by the DG regarding the housing projects under Naya Pakistan initiative taken by FGEHA, where in the first stage, housing projects will be constructed in provincial capital and Gwadar district while the quota for provincial employees will be 60%, 15% for the federal government employees and 25% for the public. Meanwhile, fisherman colonies will be constructed and developed in Pasni, Jewani, Ormara and Damb area of district Lasbela in Balochistan.
