CM approves hospital in Gujrat

LAHORE: Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, on a suggestion from Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, has accorded approval, in principle, for the establishment of a 500-bed mother and child hospital in Gujrat.

Speaker Pervez Elahi and MNA Moonis Elahi called on Chief Minister Buzdar on Monday.

In the meeting, views were exchanged on the budget session of the assembly, political situation in the province, people’s welfare programme, strategy for safety against coronavirus and further cooperation to serve the citizens.

Punjab Housing Minister Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed and Assembly Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti were also present on the occasion.
