Uplift schemes of Rs200m approved

MIANWALI: The Divisional Development Working Party has approved two revised uplift schemes of Rs200.07 million for Mianwali and Bhakhar districts.

Sargodha Division Commissioner Dr Farah Masood chaired the meeting of the development working party on Thursday, which was attended by the deputy commissioner of Bhakhar, additional deputy commissioner of Mianwali, Development Director Nouman Shakeel and other officers concerned.

The meeting approved allocation of Rs120.9 million for the construction of a 6.43 kilometres road from Shakardar to Boor Khoei, in Esa Khel tehsil.

It also approved the scheme of constructing PCC sewerage in Dulewala, Bhakkar, at a cost of Rs70.8 million.
