Shahroz went on to slam gossip about his alleged infidelity being the reason for his failed marriage with Syra; many had accused him of dating his now-wife Sadaf while he was still married to the Chalay Thay Saath star.
Recently, the Dilruba actor took to Instagram and shared his two cents on the hate and rumours that have been circulating on social media.
While Syra was trending on Twitter the day newlyweds broke the news of their wedding, she kept mum on the matter. However, a live session with the ace designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY) done around Mother's Day has now gone viral. The designer himself shared it on his Instagram profile on Tuesday.
Syra, in the candid session, talked about her daughter, motherhood, and the art of moving on.
The actor, who has long been a private person and doesn't really address her matters publicly, shared there are very few whom she considers her close friends now.
"I can count them on my fingertips," she said. "I think it's important to only have a couple of people you can truly count on and who understand you. There are so many people I would be leaving behind."
Talking about how she would resume her life post lockdown and come back to normalcy, she added, "I am going to move forward with knowing that people's actions towards me have nothing to do with me."

"It has everything to do with them, who they are, and what they believe in. It has to do with what is going on with them here (in their heads). There's no point in me worrying about that, take offence to that, to feel bad or guilty about it," the actor asserted.
She further shared that similarly, all her actions have everything to do with her. "I feel like we don't realise that most of the notions within us, which we don't really address, have a lot to do with what we learn in our childhood. This sometimes results in our actions being questionable and ridiculous," she asserted.
Syra added that, therefore, one of the things she has really worked on with her daughter Nooreh is making sure her moral foundation is extremely strong. "We all go through things. I am not saying I can protect her from everything, there are ups and downs in life but I think what's important is what you make out of them," the actor continued. "It's important to tell them what's right and wrong. That's how you nurture them."

Syra further added that sometimes parents tend to underestimate their children. "We feel like since they are kids, they won't understand. They understand everything! I always talk to my daughter like I would be talking to someone who understands everything because to me that's very important," she said. "I might be having a conversation about something with my mother and Nooreh would later tell me about it."
Syra also talked about her possible return to the industry. "I was actually in the middle of a couple of projects but then this (coronavirus pandemic) happened and now it's just stuck. A film and a few dramas were in the pipeline as well. But I'm still reading scripts. I would love to come back on TV. I'm just waiting for a good script."
If given a choice, Syra shared she would love to work with Bilal Abbas Khan, Ahad Raza Mir and Emmad Irfani.
