The Rawalpindi Metropolitan Corporation, with assistance of Provincial Parliamentary Secretary Revenue Adnan Chaudhry, has installed large water tanks in markets and public places across the city for washing hands under the corona prevention campaign.
The hand was facilities became operative on Friday. Shopkeepers and residents have been given the responsibility of the safety of these water tanks installed in their area.
These water tanks have been fitted on an iron frame in modern manner. Lever attached to the foot will be pressed to wash the hand rather opening the tap.
Similarly, hand-wash liquid and sanitizers can also be dropped through pressing the lever, while soap is also available. In the first phase, 300 such water tanks have been installed in which water will also be filled by government.
