Shaniera Akram and Armeena Khan call out lockdown violaters

Both of them have urged people to be empathetic for one another

Shaniera Akram recently shared her observation of the lockdown is still not being taken seriously even as coronavirus cases rise at an alarming rate. "Im hearing of people catching up with friends, many playing cricket on the street, kids at other kids houses, families walking with other families," she said.



The social activist then urged people to not violate the lockdown and stay inside their homes. "We are getting frustrated and bored,I get it. But we are in the eye of the storm people, don’t be fooled!" she added.

Meanwhile, actor Armeena Khan in a series of tweets called out all those in the showbiz fraternity that are still partaking in shoots. "I’m seeing photoshoots happening. Is the lockdown over?" she said sarcastically.

Adding on, the Yalghar actor talked about how these shoots were endangering lives. "Imagine taking part in a shoot or a photoshoot while people are dying around you. Some of us left shoots as to not endanger other peoples lives. You’re not special! The cases are climbing mark my words and each person you expose to the elements is on you!" she said.

Actor Mansha Pasha shared her concern about the possibility of actors being coerced into taking part in shoots. "Oh my Lord.  Woman I hope the actors weren't pressurised into it," she tweeted in response to Armeena.
