Chairing a meeting to review anti-dengue activities in the district at his office on Monday, she said that so far, some 1,613 workers have been recruited for the upcoming anti-dengue campaign. However, she added that the process for hiring additional workers to meet the 2,000 worker mark was underway.
Dr Sataish added that existing anti-dengue workers of the district are being trained according to new standard operating procedures (SOPs) identified by the Punjab government.
The ADC stressed that anti-dengue efforts should vigorously continue in all areas of the district to intercept virus.
