Weapons recovered: Police arrest 73 criminals

BANNU: The police claimed on Monday to have arrested 73 proclaimed offenders when they launched an operation against ‘anti-state elements’. They also recovered a huge stockpile of weapons in the possession of the criminals. The police operation was carried out against the offenders for their alleged complicity in different cases of murder, attempted murder, kidnapping and robberies. The operation led to the recovery of 28 Kalashnikovs, 50 pistols, 27 rifles, six Kalakovs and 2,500 cartridges and 15 kilogrammes of hashish from the possession of the offenders.
