The song Allah-o-Akbar – sung by famous Shuja Haider – commemorates the chivalry of valiant Jawans of the PAF who are ready to brave all storms while shedding light on the story of Pakistani nation that stores courage to pass through every stumbling block, Radio Pakistan reported on Monday.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Air Force is also organising an air show on Thursday (Feb 27) in Karachi's Sea View that will kick off at 12pm.
PAF Museum puts Abhinandan’s likeness, remains of his jet on display
Last year, the PAF also long-housed the waxed-statue of Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, who was captured after his MiG-21 fighter jet shot down in the dog-fight, in a gallery named ‘Operation Swift Retort’.
Abhinandan’s jet was one of the two planes shot down by the PAF after they entered the country’s airspace on February 27, a day after Indian warplanes barged into Pakistan and dropped ‘payload’ in a deserted place in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Balakot area.
He was handed over to Indian authorities at Wagah border on March 1 as a goodwill gesture.
