Violence against children

Letter February 22, 2020
These children are future of Pakistan as we should treat them as such

TURBAT: A home is a garden and children are the beautiful flowers of it. No garden is beautiful without flowers and no home is happy without the sound of children. Children are the future builder of any nation and any country. But in Pakistan, children are being tortured and beaten; many a times by those who are close relatives and friends. If the guider becomes an executioner what will remain of the future of our children. No teacher can beat the children as it is a basic violation of human rights. Beating students is a crime but laws that condemn such acts in Pakistan are not being implemented to the fullest. As a result, the lives of many children and students are destroyed. 81% of children are suffering from violence in Pakistan. When our child turn five years old we send them to school, and in school where they are supposed to receive education they are instead beaten terribly. Children are not born for violence and corporal punishments, or as subservient slaves of elders. I request all Pakistani parents, teachers and elder to be kind to children and save their lives from destructions. These children are future of Pakistan as we should treat them as such.
