Watch: 'Matrix' 4 BTS footage shows Trinity back from the dead

Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss are scene in a motorcycle related action sequence

It appears that  Carrie-Anne Moss will be reprising her role as Trinity in the fourth installment of The Matrix series. A video from the sets of Matrix 4 recently surfaced that shows Keanu Reeves and Moss in a motorcycle related action sequence. Trinity is seen dying in Neo's arms during the final moments of  Matrix Revolutions.

The project is currently in filming with details of the plot kept under wraps. However when Matrix was first green lit for another sequel, rumors had surfaced that a young Morpheas possibly played by Micheal B Jordon would be in it.

The film is directed by Lana Wachowski who co-wrote it as well alongside Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchel.  Aside from Reeves and Moss, the film also stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jonathan Groff, Toby Onwumere, Eréndira Ibarra, Neil Patrick Harris, and Jessica Henwick. Jada Pinkett, all of whom were in Matrix Reloaded.

Meanwhile Hugo Weaving and Laurence Fishburne  would not be in the film. It is not yet known how their characters Agent Smith and Morpheas respectively would be incorporated in the film.
