Saudi Prince: King’s son appointed deputy minister

Saudi Arabia’s monarch King Abdullah appointed his son Prince Abdelaziz bin Abdullah as deputy foreign minister.

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s monarch King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz appointed on Friday his son Prince Abdelaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz as deputy foreign minister. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al Faisal has been facing health problems involving his neck and back. Prince Abdelaziz has previously served as the Saudi king’s special envoy for important regional issues, especially relations with Syria.
