Galiyat Snow Festival from January 31

Food and music nights are also a part of the gala at Malam Jabba

PESHAWAR: After the snow festival in the western hills of Malam Jabba in Swat, another snow festival is being organised in the province, this time in the scenic hills of Nathiagali.

The three-day festival Galiyat Snow Festival 2020, is expected to commence from January 31.

The festival is being jointly organised by the Tourism Corporation of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (TCK-P) and the Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) in Nathiagali and other serene spots in the region such as Dongagali, Ayubia, Khanispur, Mushkpuri Top, which have been blanketed by snow.

In a statement issued by the TCK-P on Monday, the festival will feature skiing, snow-tubing, biking, snow hiking, bonfire, tug-of-war, snow football, camping, vlog competitions, food stalls, snow cartoons, jeep rally and other activities to entertain tourist and visitors.

Moreover, food and music nights are also a part of the gala, in which famous singers and artists are expected to perform.

GDA officials said the event will help boost the tourism sector in the province and provide entertainment opportunities to local and foreign tourists.
