Over the years people have had a hazy image of what it would be like to drive a flying car with famous movies trying to bring this concept to life as well.

Finally, the wait is over! Pal-V, a Dutch company is taken this challenge and transformed our imagination into reality by creating the first commercial flying car that debuted on Tuesday.



"The PAL-V Liberty is a marriage between safety and fun, designed to satisfy the most demanding customers," according to the company’s official website.

The flying car complies with regulations placed on flying and driving and is currently available for purchase at a starting price of $599,000.

The vehicle has a capacity of two people and can hold up to a mass weight of 664 kg and baggage of 20 kg.

Along with this, the flying car can drive to a maximum speed of 160 km/h which means top acceleration of less than 9 seconds.

Now for the fun part, you can fly the vehicle at an economical cruise speed of 140 km/h, high cruise speed of 160 km/h and a maximum speed of 180 km/h.
