Rickshaw driver's rendition of Mehdi Hassan's classic goes viral

He said he always wanted to be a classical singer, but poverty provoked him into driving a rickshaw

A rickshaw driver named Qasim Ali, has driven the internet crazy with his soulful rendition of Mehdi Hassan's song, Zindagi mai tu sub hi pyar kiya karte hain, leaving them wanting for more.

A Twitter user uploaded his video along with his story of how he wanted to be a singer, but poverty did not allow him to make his dreams a reality. Following this, the protege was forced into driving a rikshaw.



The user claimed, "This auto rickshaw driver in Karachi is an amazing talent, spotted him singing Mehdi Hassan’s songs at a stop. Qasim Ali says he wanted to be a classical singer but poverty shattered his dreams and he’s forced to drive rickshaw to earn his bread and butter."
