Documentaries, panellists highlight the impact of climate change

Documentary explained challenges faced by wildlife, humans

A panel discussion and documentary screening was organised by The Dawood Foundation at SZABIST auditorium on October 9, to highlight the hazards of climate change and the importance of mangroves.

The documentaries played at the event delved into specific areas of rich biodiversity in Pakistan and explained the challenges that are faced by wildlife and humans.

Speaking on the occasion, panellists discussed climate change in relation to global development narrative, mega projects in Pakistan impacting the environment, including Thar coal and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and psychological impacts of climate change.
