Life is too short to wear boring clothes. This realisation came to us while drooling over the wardrobe choice of the ever gorgeous and classy Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton during her visit to Pakistan with Prince William. During the past few days, the royal couple has been enjoying the much-deserved spotlight and while the masses loved every bit of the royal couple’s tour in the country, we all have been left majorly awe-struck by the immense elegance and poise the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton possesses. From her sartorial choices, to the utmost charisma in her demeanour, Kate sure managed to garner massive love and attention from all across Pakistan. So, we not only began to follow her outfit choices closely but also vowed to up our wardrobe game.
We came across the fact that according to her stylist, Catherine, their focus was to be "showcasing Pakistan as it is today - a dynamic, aspirational and forward-looking nation." This was majorly inspiring for us because it challenged our views about Pakistani traditional outfits. We realised every outfit speaks volumes and thus, should be carefully selected. Catherine usually opts for local brands whenever she visits any country and even on the royal couple’s trip to Pakistan, she styled Kate in some very gorgeous garbs that had a hint of Pakistani tradition. Kate’s style not only embodies grace and elegance but is also trendy and chic. She uses minimalism and subtlety to redefine a suave outlook for women.
Although all her outfits were beyond stunning, one thing that caught our eye was the fact that she felt was necessary to her look was the inclusion of the dupatta, which is a lovely accessory to the dress, and it is completely Pakistani. This poly silk dupatta with gold screen print and hand-made silk thread tassels on the edges was carefully chosen from Bonanza Satrangi; a brand that has been giving one-stop clothing solution to the women of Pakistan since 2012.
As we mentioned earlier, an outfit sometimes speaks volume and possesses a lot of meaning, hence their dupatta was a complete modish and a much needed style statement. Why is that? This is because as a brand, Bonanza Satrangi is striving to promote and encourage confident, fearless women. They stand up in favour of breaking stereotypes and encourage women to build their courage and to go beyond what is expected of them. Isn’t that remarkable?
Sadly, their stunning dupatta appears to be sold out on their website for now. We sure hope they restock it soon. Meanwhile, we came across some other beautiful and intriguing dupattas by Bonanza Satrangi to pair with our new wardrobe like a perfect classical symphony.

Easy breezy blues
According to us the holy grail of summer essentials is an outfit which reflects a classic vibe and is soothing to the eye. When it comes to fashion, you bring fresh air into the gray of everyday life with floral prints. This outfit with pastel colour tones and blue detailing conforms to all definitions of chic. And what other way is better than expressing yourself with floral patterned kurtas. Considering Karachi’s mood swings, it is best to pair it up with a low key, yet uber-ethnic chiffon dupatta and their elegant white trousers. For women always on the go, this Satrangi outfit is the perfect choice.
