KARACHI: The Sea View promenade has been lit by 3D lights installed along its length. The street lights, designed in different shapes and forms, were installed along the green belt in Abdul Sattar Edhi Avenue, as a part of Clifton Cantonment Board's (CBC) initiative to beautify the thoroughfare.

The 3D lights, created to simulate the forms of turtles, fishes, mushrooms and other marine life creatures were made during a CBC workshop.

According to CBC representatives, the illumination of street lamps was preceded by the placement of dustbins, created in the shapes of marine animals, which too was a part of the beautification project and the cleanliness drive. The body plans to install more such facilities at the beach for the ease and entertainment of the public, they said.
