Asim Azhar, Mawra Hocane make political statements via recent outfits

Here's what they wore

Entertainment Desk October 07, 2019

The stars at the 7th Hum Awards didn't really shine when it came to red carpet fashion. There were very few hits (only Ayesha Omar in Elan and Sanam Jung is Sana Safinaz) and many misses like Iqra Aziz and Hania Aamir in Nomi Ansari.

But what did catch our attention was Asim Azhar and Mawra Hocane's subtle representation on the red carpet. We weren't really huge fans of the Daasi actor's neon green Omorose lehenga choli but what we did like was her moon-shaped clutch.

The white Garema stone encrusted bag represented the moon in Pakistani flag and we loved it! So quirky and innovative.

Asim's wardrobe, on the other hand, sparked solidarity with Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK). He donned a brown kurta pajama with a same-coloured stole that read 'I love Kashmir.'

The singer also tied a Kashmiri flag on his forearm. Very well thought-out. What do you think of their outfits?
