He expressed these views while speaking as the chief guest at the graduation of 201 rescuers, including 96 rescuers from Baluchistan and 105 from Punjab, on Monday. The ceremony was held at the Emergency Services Academy.
Speaking on the occasion, the Balochistan CM congratulated the graduates and appreciated the services of PES as well as the training standards of Emergency Services Academy.
“There is no doubt that rescuers are putting their lives in danger while providing safety and protection to citizens. However, designing buildings and factories according to safety codes is the need of the hour,” he said.
Rescue services soon an app away
Kamal maintained that the rescue services would also be expanded to all remaining districts of Baluchistan soon, in order to provide timely care in case of emergencies.
“Every human life is precious; protecting lives is the foremost priority and responsibility of the government,” he said. He thanked the government of Punjab and the Rescue 1122 director general for providing support for training rescuers from Balochistan.
He said the government of Balochistan would try to follow in the footsteps of PES to establish a comprehensive emergency management system.
“We are expecting support from the government of Punjab through Emergency Services Academy for the training of rescuers in Balochistan.”
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister for Industries Mian Aslam Iqbal welcomed the Balochistan CM in Lahore and congratulated the cadets.

He stated Rescue 1122 is an exemplary department, which has set high professional standards through its services.
Rescue 1122 Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer congratulated the rescuers on successfully completing their professional training.
He said the academy has become a centre of excellence for the training of emergency services personnel in all provinces and SAARC countries.
Earlier, the cadets demonstrated professional skills of emergency management during mock exercises involving deep rescue, water rescue, firefighting, urban search and rescue, rescue from confined spaces and rescue from a height.
The Balochistan CM along with Rescue 1122 DG distributed awards and certificates among the successful cadets of the course in the field of fire, medical and rescue.
