UAF students head to China for PhD

The selected students are graduates of plant protection, crop science, life sciences and horticulture sciences

A contingent of 10 students has been dispatched to China for the PhD degree programmes at the Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University (FAFU). A sending-off ceremony was held at the VC’s office which was attended by Vice-Chancellor Dr Muhammad Ashraf and External Linkages Director Dr Rashid Ahmed. Extending his congratulations, Ashraf urged the students to work hard and prove their mettle in their respective domains. He asked the director to decide on a future line of action regarding FAFU scholarships so that they may award them on merit and ensure transparency. The selected students are graduates of plant protection, crop science, life sciences and horticulture sciences.
