KECH: Defence Day is observed in Pakistan on 6 September to highlight the sacrifices made by Pakistani soldiers against Indian army invaders in the 1965 war. The war actually occurred due to the Kashmir issue which still remains unresolved. The 17-day war was eventually won by our honourable heroes. We are always ready to defend our motherland. This exceedingly glorious victory made us more brave to fight wisely in any critical time or situations we face.

All Pakistanis should celebrate this day and appreciate the extraordinary efforts and courageous sacrifices of our honourable heroes

Abdul Waheed
