RAC hosts Freedom Musical Night

As performers expressed their love for the country through the folk song

ISLAMABAD: In connection with the celebration of Independence Day, the Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) organised ‘Freedom Musical Night’ in which local artists from Rawalpindi and Islamabad showcased their art. Artist Masood Khwaja was host at the event, Pir Azmatullah Sultan performed as guest special. The performers expressed their love for the country through the folk song. The performers included Syed Bashar, Laraib Tahir, Hamza Ali, Aram Abbasi, Asiya Zafar, Master Majeed, Banish, Atsham, Rizwan Jan, Wazir Ali, Sharjeel, Hadassah Yad, Memona Mushtaq, Majid Ali, Aamir Shahzad, Mashil Nurin, Asim Ali, Bilal Arshad and Digar. RAC Director Waqar Ahmed also cut a cake with the Pakistani flag with the children to commemorate the occasion of Independence Day.
