ANF to produce Sana’s arrest CCTV footage

Sana was arrested for smuggling 15kg of heroin

LAHORE: An anti-narcotics court judge directed the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officials to present themselves before the court if there is any CCTV footage of PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanaullah’s arrest.

The judge extended the judicial remand of six accused by August 24 including PML-N leader who was allegedly involved in smuggling of 15kg of heroin. As the proceedings commenced, the judge asked the ANF officials about any record in light of CCTV footage when Sana’s arrest was made.

After the ANF officials claimed to have the CCTV footage of the arrest, the judge directed the officials to produce it before court by next date. While the accused persons requested the court to grant them some time to hire their councils at which the judge, accepting their plea, granted them time till the next day.
