One dead, two injured in incidents
Victim waits for a bus on roadside, speeding car hits him
ISLAMABAD:
An elderly waiting for a bus was killed by a speeding car in precincts of Sihala police station. Muhammad Zohaib told the police that his paternal uncle, Nadeem Kak, was waiting for a bus on roadside when a speeding car hit him owing to which he died on spot. The police have registered a case however it has failed to trace the suspect. Separately, two people, including a police constable, were injured in two separate firing incidents in precincts of Sadiqabad police station. A wanted criminal, Ammar Satti, opened fire at police motorcycle in Al-Noor Colony injuring Constable Osama. The victim was shifted Benazir Bhutto General Hospital (BBGH). In another incident occurred in same remits, armed robbers attempted to snatch motorcycle from Abdul Rauf and shot him on resistance. The victim was identified as son of local leader of Pakistan Thereek-e-Insaf.
