Increasing Literacy: ‘Govt determined to educate women’

The construction of a Government College for Women at Kot Najibullah is likely to cost almost Rs18 million.

ABBOTTABAD: Chairman District Advisory Committee Gohar Nawaz Khan laid the foundation stone of a Government College for Women at Kot Najibullah on Saturday. The construction is likely to cost almost Rs18 million. Khan said the socio-economic conditions in the area cannot be improved without educating women, adding that his government was striving to establish more educational institutions in the province to increase the literacy rate in the region.
