Police haul in 11 suspects 

Suspects include six alleged drug peddlers

ISLAMABAD: Police claimed to have arrested 11 suspects in various raids on Wednesday. According to police spokesman, the arrested suspects included six alleged drug peddlers. Tarnol police arrested sohaib, Muhammad Rauf and Mazhar and allegedly recovered hashish from them. Separately, Tarnol police arrested Faheem Khan for carrying an unlicensed 30-bore pistol. Karachi Company police arrested Muhammad Shahid and Muhammad Ahmed and recovered liquor from them. Karachi Company police arrested Niaz Ali and Muhammad Pervez and allegedly recovered stolen valuables from them. Bhara Kahu police arrested accused Hamza Qazi and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. Industrial-Area police arrested Qasim Munir on charges of possessing two stolen bikes. Shahzad Town police arrested Shehbaz for having a bottle of liquor. Cases have been registered against these suspects, the spokesman said. DIG (Operations) Waqaruddin Syed has appreciated their performance and directed all Station House Officers for effective crackdown against that involvement in drug peddling activities.
