KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Senator Sirajul Haq has said that the federal government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is on a ventilator and the people have no hope.

This he said on Monday while addressing a gathering of 'Karachi Awami March,' at Sohrab Goth. JI leaders including Muhammad Hussain Mehanti, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman and others also spoke on the occasion.

Haq made it clear that the JI will not become part of Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz or Pakistan People's Party (PPP) though it would remain in the public as the third option. He said that federal and provincial governments both had provided the people with nothing but false promises. He said that the Centre has become a slave of IMF without taking the plight of the people into consideration.
