Minister calls for action against fake dentists

Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid says data of dental patients should be collected from all over the province

Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid has directed officials to take stern action against illegal dentists in the province. She added that the data of dental patients should be collected from all over the province.

She passed these orders while chairing the first International Dental Conference at the University of Health Sciences (UHS) on Wednesday where she was the chief guest. Addressing the conference, the health minister said that the importance of research in the health sector cannot be denied. The Punjab government has taken historical initiatives to bring real change at government hospitals in the province, she maintained.

The previous government only increased their assets and did not complete any developmental projects. She added that participants, especially medical students, will be able to learn many skills through such workshops.
