Water scarcity

Underground water in Absor Dhaki Bazaar is brackish and is not drinkable

TURBAT: I belong to Absor Dhaki Bazaar, a village located east of Turbat. Residents of the village are deprived of drinking water. Underground water in the area is brackish and is not drinkable.

Unfortunately, we have no option but to consume this water for survival and this is causing several health problems. The villagers have brought the matter to the notice of authorities, but it has still not been resolved.

I urge the government authorities local as well as provincial to take notice of this serious issue and take immediate steps to provide fresh drinking water to the village.
