Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing on Monday called on army chief General Qamar Bajwa at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations, the military’s media wing, matters of mutual interest including regional security situation were discussed in the meeting.

In a recent interview with the Chinese state media Xinhua, chief military spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor said Pakistan military had raised a whole division-sized force to ensure the security of the CPEC, and was planning to deploy another division for the purpose.
