Man kills daughter, injures wife in Lahore

Police conduct raids to arrest the culprit

LAHORE: A man shot and killed his daughter while also injuring his wife over a dispute in Millat Park area on Sunday. The accused managed to flee the scene of the crime.

After receiving information of the incident, police rushed to the scene and took the deceased’s body into custody. They shifted the body to a hospital for a post mortem report. Meanwhile, police are conducting raids to arrest the accused.

Reportedly, Waseem, a resident of Moon Colony, had gotten into an argument with his wife Bisma over unknown reasons. In a fit of rage, he opened fire, killing his 20-year-old daughter Nimra on the spot.

Bisma sustained critical injuries while the accused fled the scene. The victim was shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.

Police said that the accused will be brought to justice and raids are being conducted to arrest the culprit.
