Amir Khattak directs officers to bring the district among top 10 districts of Punjab

MULTAN: Deputy Commissioner Aamir Khattak has expressed concern over the poor performance of education department and directed the officers to perform otherwise show-cause notices would be issued to them.

District Multan bagged 26 positions among 36 districts of the province. Deputy Commissioner Amir Khattak had directed officers to bring the district among top 10 districts of Punjab. He said this in a meeting here on Wednesday. He stated that education and health was top priority of district administration.

The DC also announced incentives for those educationists, who would perform better. However, non-serious attitude of the teachers would not be tolerated and they would face action.

About missing facilities, the deputy commissioner observed that the missing facilities would be provided in the educational institutes very soon. The issues related to shortage of funds would also be resolved soon.
