No religion or school of morality teaches or praises violence either against women and men

KARACHI: Violence against women is justified under various pretexts. Can violence against individuals or a group of individuals ever be justified? The answer is a big NO. People are subjected to violence after they are depicted as sub-humans.

The perpetrators convince themselves that those whom they are subjecting to violence are not human beings, so using violence against them is justified.

This is an entirely false logic as it goes against reason. However, when reason and judgment leave people they act according to their whims and fancies.

No religion or school of morality teaches or praises violence either against women and men. Men and women are the two wheels on which the vehicle of life moves. Both are equal. In no way has any of the two superiority over the other.
