The decision came during a meeting between Jordan’s Chief of Staff Strategic Planning and Defence Resources Major General Nassar Al Athamneh and army chief General Qamar Bajwa at the GHQ in Rawalpindi on Monday, said a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Matters of mutual and professional interest with special emphasis on defence and security collaboration between the two brotherly countries were discussed,” the communique added.
COAS meets Imam-e-Kaaba
Separately, the army chief also met Imam-e-Kaaba Shaikh Abdul Elah Al Juhani.
According to the ISPR, the Imam-e-Kaaba said Pakistan had a momentous place in the Muslim world. He appreciated Pakistan’s positive role for regional peace and stability.
“Both expressed satisfaction on the brotherly relations between the two countries and stressed upon the need for intensifying efforts to enhance peace and harmony in the Muslim world,” said the military’s media wing.
