Maryam warns of consequences if Nawaz's health ‘deteriorates’
Next course of action will only be decided after medical reports come in, she said, adding that the medical board constituted for the former prime minister's treatment had wanted him to be shifted to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology.
She, however, lamented that authorities decided to shift Nawaz to Jinnah Hospital instead.
On Friday, the three-time prime minister of the country was shifted to Jinnah Hospital from Kot Lakh Pat Jail on instructions of the government.
His PML-N party had slammed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government for intentionally putting Nawaz through mental torture by shifting him to a hospital which was not even relevant to his ailment.
