NAB officials presented Agha before the administrative judge. The investigation officer (IO) informed the court that Agha was a close aide of former Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) director-general (DG) Manzoor Qadir alias Kaka and added that the NAB's investigations against the former DG were in progress.
NAB swings into action in China-cutting cases
The IO requested the court to grant remand of the accused for interrogation. Agha is one of the directors of Ocean Private Limited and is accused of involvement in the illegal transfer of a 4,000-square yard plot at Neher-e-Khayyam in Block 5, Clifton, worth around Rs2 billion. Agha illegally transferred the plot in connivance with other directors.
