Teaser of Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn film 'Birds of Prey' finally out

20-second clip shows a glimpse of 'new friends' that will join Harley Quinn in the 2020 'Suicide Sqaud' spin-off

Hollywood star Margot Robbie has shared the first picture of her look for the forthcoming DC film Birds of Prey. The actor will reprise her role as the crazy criminal-turned-hero, Harley Quinn in the Suicide Squad spin-off, reported Daily Mail.

Robbie posted a picture of herself as Quinn with a caption that read, “Miss me? HQ.” She can be seen sporting blonde hair, red lips, a clear jacket and several chains.

The teaser of Birds of Prey was also released yesterday, showing off the bonkers character as her typical self. The 20-second clip also provided a glimpse of 'new friends' that will join her in the 2020 sequel. Alongside Harley Quinn, Birds of Prey features Huntress, Black Mask and Black Canary.

The video opens with a shot of Harley's boots, with her trademark mallet swinging beside them. Setting the tone for the trailer, the next scene shows a silhouette of one of the characters downing a bottle of liquor. This is followed by a shot of a pink arm cast with 'GOTHAM is my city' written in black marker, confirming the location.

Birds of Prey will star Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ewan McGregor, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Ella Jay Basco, Rosie Perez, Chris Messina and Michael Masini as well as Robbie. It is slated to release on February 7, 2020.
