QUETTA: Three drug peddlers have been nabbed by law enforcement agencies in a joint operation carried out in Mastung on Sunday.

Acting on a tip-off, police and Levies officials under the supervision of Mastung Deputy Commissioner Mumtaz Khetran conducted a raid on a house in Wali Khan area on the outskirts of Mastung town and nabbed three suspects, including a father and son.

“The house that was raided is believed to be a drug selling point and the arrested people were suspected of being involved in drugs trade,” the DC said, adding that there were also reports about the involvement of women in the crime.

He said that with the support of public the police will end the curse from the area. Khetran said that the crackdown against gangsters and drug peddlers would continue.
