ISLAMABAD: The leader of the House in Senate Senator Shibli Faraz on Tuesday explained that the reason why education reforms was a top priority for the country was that those nations who neglect education, they get left behind in the journey of progress.

He stated this while handing out prizes amongst the best performing students at the Islamabad Model College for Boys in Sector F-7/3.

Faraz said that education was the only way to bring about true and lasting change in the fate of any nation.

Even as he emphasized the importance of education, he said stressed that physical activities could not be neglected either.

“The hospitals of a nation fill up if the playgrounds get empty,” he added.
