According to a report by Radio Pakistan, Qureshi apprised the visiting dignitary of Pakistan's concern over the gross human rights violations by the Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.
He called for implementing the UN Security Council's Resolutions on Kashmir in letter and spirit to resolve the longstanding issue.
Later, in the joint press briefing, Qureshi said Pakistan was actively engaged with Afghanistan for a long and durable solution to the Afghan conflict.

Pakistan, he added, believed in an Afghan-led and Afghan owned peace process.
Speaking on the occasion, Espinosa appreciated Pakistan's active and vibrant role in the realisation of goals of the United Nations.
She said all member states needed to play their role in overcoming the impacts of climate change.
The UNGA president appreciated Pakistan for hosting a large number of Afghan refugees.

She also called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at the PM Office.
