Opener Joe Denly smashed 76 runs as Sydney Sixers beat Adelaide Strikers by six wickets in match 22 of the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL).

Right-handed opener struck eight boundaries and a six in his unbeaten knock which took the Sixers over the line inside 19 overs.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Josh Philippe scored 30 runs and remained not out.

Afghanistan’s star leg-spinner Rashid Khan claimed two wickets for 25 runs in his four-over spell for the Strikers.
