HYDERABAD: A middle-aged mother of seven children was allegedly killed by her brothers-in-law in Sehwan on Sunday. According to police, Ameena Solangi was shot dead in her residence by her two brothers-in-law while her husband was away from home.

The police arrested suspect, Daudo Solangi, while the other suspect, Riaz Solangi, escaped. The police said that two residents of the village, where the incident happened, informed the police that they feared that Ameena's in-laws might kill her. When the police reached the spot, they found the dead body.

Former judge shot dead in Rawalpindi targeted killing

Ghulam Muhammad Solangi, the husband, informed the police that he had left home for his agricultural land three days prior to the incident. Muhammad Ayub, a brother of the slain woman, alleged that Ameena's husband also allegedly colluded with his brothers in his sister's murder. The incident's FIR has not been registered as yet.
