The BA return

Letter December 19, 2018
The airline with several managerial changes is still struggling with staggering losses and declining service graph

ISLAMABAD: It is equally concerning and admirable that the British Airways is returning to Pakistan after a halt of 10 years. Where many international airlines stopped their operations in Pakistan mainly because of security reasons, several others continue to give tough competition to our national carrier — Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). The airline with several managerial changes is still struggling with staggering losses and declining service graph.

In condition like these, international airlines making their way back to Pakistan will only worsen the situation for the national airline, until the government adopts effective policies to revamp PIA.
