Benazir murder case: Permanent warrants issued against Musharraf

FIA files application in court requesting for confiscation of Musharraf's property.

RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism court issued permanent warrants against former President Pervez Musharraf on Saturday while hearing the murder case of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

An application was filed in the court by the Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) to issue a permanent warrant for Musharraf, which also requests for the confiscation of his property.

The court asked for all details of the property, and adjourned the next hearing of the case till June 25.

The court had earlier issued three non-bailable arrest warrants for Musharraf and declared him a proclaimed offender. He is thought to be a key witness and an enabler of the plot to kill Benzair Bhutto.

Meanwhile, the Director General of FIA Malik Muhammad Iqbal was also summoned in the court, who apologised for contempt of court in earlier hearings of the same case and assured that all judicial directives are being followed.

The court withdrew the contempt of court notices against him after his apologies.

Today ..................................he is a proclaimed offender surrendered by walls of other state. Always fear from Allah Almighty,He can change anything any time because He is superior than every thing,entire universe including sun and stars. History has lesson in its pages,we should learn more and more from it. many came and gone but all the things are still stand its own place. Notwithstanding the fact that the day would come when every thing removed and constituted a court,decisions would be taken and justice done all the matters.

As for as fair trial is concerned,it is impossible,vide the famous trial of Z.A.Bhutto.and trial of Raymond devise,might is right. That is the history,just after 9/11 incident,American came to him they were in hurry and decided to destroying every thing coming in the way,at that time Musharraf used his sense wisdom and in this way saved Pakistan from horrible destruction. In his time,there is no such insurgency we are watching now a days,what is saying Talban?describing Pakistan No.one enemy,is it the result of Musharraf policies ?no no. it is the result of the dollars being received by concerned quarters. No doubt ,Benazir Bhutto was a great leader,she come to Pakistan after setting scores on some particular points which were intolerable for Talban, so they became dead enemy of Bhutto,in fact there are killer of BB. Musharraf is a innocent absolutely innocent,what is being done against him ,is revenge , really revenge. He committed no crime as president.

Its just sound so foolish.. first it was PML Q then Baitullah Mehsood, Then said it was Taliban, then Alqaeda, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi now they are saying it was Musharraf.. I think Government has lost it completely.. Its fishy may be it was an inside job so they are covering up names who hid behind false claims.. They are trying to fool people but they are fooling themselves.

aftab khan | 13 years ago | Reply he is being made to pay the price for taking on the islamic extremists in our society.musharraf was a visionary and pakistan was a better place under him.The present govt. is determined to continue its policy of appeasing the religious terrorists and has completely surrendered before the religious fanatics after the brutal murder of shaheed salman taseer. A strong,determined leader like musharraf is needed to save our country from the religious barbarians who want to take us back to the dark ages.

sharjeel amjad | 13 years ago | Reply musharraf was a true brave leader.He dared to take on the islamic terrorists when no else had the courage.He was couaregeous enough to take the needed action against the islamic terrorists that had taken over the lal masjid( which was illegally built on occupied land). it is such a tragedy that after his departure the present govt. in its efforts to appease the islamic fascists free the mullah responsible for the violence and now, once again the lal masjid is occupied by the religious extremists. We want musharraf back in pakistan and back in power so he can rescue us from the clutches of radical islam.
