K-P police receive over 13,439 complaints

PESHAWAR: The Police Access Service by the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) police has received over 13,439 complaints in 2017 and in 2018 thus far from across the province.

Of these, officials said, 11,880 complaints have been solved while the remaining had been referred to the relevant forums for their early solution.

As per the district wise record and available, the Peshawar police received the most complaints with 3,546. Of these, 2,840 have been resolved to the satisfaction of the complainants.

Similarly Mardan has resolved 1,523 of the 1,616 complaints it received, Charsadda resolved 818 of the 869 complaints it received, Nowshera resolved 575 of the 648 complaints it received, Swabi resolved 600 of the 624 complaints, Swat resolved 369 of 402 complaints, Buner resolved 170 of 183 complaints, Shangla resolved 82 out of 91 complaints, Lower Dir resolved 177 of 191 complaints, Upper Dir resolved 96 out of 105 complaints, Chitral resolved 79 of 87 complaints, Abbottabad resolved 629 of 707 complaints, Haripur resolved 299 of 344 complaints, Mansehra resolved 633 of 682 complaints, Battagram resolved 78 of 85 complaints, Lower Kohistan resolved 14 of 18 complaints, Upper Kohistan resolved 40 of 43 complaints, Torghar resolved six of the seven complaints, Kohat resolved 519 of 549 complaints.
