Karachi violence: 12 injured in attack on ex-PAC chief

Baloch was returning from a political rally when he was attacked.

At least 12 people have been injured in an attack on the chairman of the now-defunct People’s Aman Committee, Uzair Baloch, was attacked in the Ghasmandi area near Napier Road around 1 am on Tuesday morning.

According to police, Baloch was returning from a political rally when he was attacked. Witnesses say his attackers used hand grenades but police deny this. Sources say his convoy was attacked just when the power went out in the area he was passing by.
