KARACHI:

After the Sindh Assembly session on Friday, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) parliamentary leader Syed Sardar Ahmed held a press conference along with MPAs Abdul Hameed Pirzada, Moeen Amir, Aleemur Rehman, Muzammil Qureshi and Adil Khan.

The MQM leaders said that they were not allowed to talk about the kidnapping of their MPA, even though they presented a unanimous resolution that was signed by Pakistan Peoples Party’s Ghulam Mujadid Isran and Pakistan Muslim League - Functional’s Nusrat Seher Abbasi. They said that they tried to contact Law Minister Ayaz Soomro before the session to take him into confidence but failed to reach him.

They hoped that Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, who is looking after the home ministry, will take some action.
