International collaboration: USP extends support to DRAP

Aamer Mahmood Kiani calls on DRAP

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of United States Pharmacopeia (USP) assisting DRAP in achieving international certification and setting up labs called on the Federal Minister for National Health Services Aamer Mehmood Kiani Tuesday.The delegation which was headed by USP Senior Vice President Emily M Kaine shared its support for DRAP to make it a self-sufficient body. Sustainable support by USP staff for self-assessment of nine regulatory functions, all based on the WHO global benchmarking tool were among the topics discussed, as well as the development of institutional plans for Level III compliance.
